Default The Volvo / Evo Connection

I have noticed that in a number of different threads, usually threads about suspension or strut braces people refer to Mitsubishi Evo's. So what is the connection between the Volvo and the Evo.

Thanks in advance

Don't know that there is one, other than the connection between the old Mitsubishi Carisma (the most inappropriately named car ever) and the original S40 Volvo, but nothing else.

Maybe an Evo is just an obvious choice of car to refer to when you're discussing suspension braces, don't they come with them fitted as standard?

Quite a few parts mainly suspension are interchangeable between the 1996-2004 S40 and V40 and te Evo 1-6 as well as some of the bushings of the FTO. Brake calipers, struts, arb strut mount, top mounts are interchangeable

As Gatos said, it's just for the S/V40 96-04 where due to the shared platform with Mitsubushi, a lot of performance suspension parts from certain Mitsubushi models are compatable with these vehicles.
