I burn E-85 full time in my RAV-4 but I haven't tried it yet in the Amazon. We're in the middle of a freak cold snap in California right now but I'd like to try E-85 once the weather warms up. I'll start a new thread when I start experimenting with it. Trivia fact: Did you know that E-85 is the same thing as corn whisky or moonshine? The only difference is they have to add 15% unleaded petrol to ease cold starting and to make it toxic to drink! We have people in the states who are distilling their own motor fuel......legally.

It will be interesting to hear how you get on with it. I've run B20's on 50/50 mix or petrol and diesel and then run ok but down a little on power.

Why use that, when someone put the wrong fuel in a car and mixes the two together there is no point in the fuel going to waste.

Don't bother going to Halfords; use your local motor factors. Prices will be lower, they will likely be able to obtain obscure parts/service items and will have knowledgeable staff.
