silly question about exhaust

Should the tail pipe on a 850 T5 1995 be square rather than round or is this just an add on.

if i remember correctly some did come with a square tail pipe from the factory, not sure if it was the T5 or the R tho

what i discovered.

standard from the factory genuine volvo component is oval

when i ordered a "bosal" make for my 850 t5 a square version arrived.

so i assume the square ones are non genuine component.

the genuine volvo i would think are the oval ones...but couldnt swear to it cos i havent paid the extra money to order a genuine oval one from the dealers.

i think there is 4 different tail pipes you can get

round fitted to NA engines
oval fitted to t5 engines
square fitted to the early turbo models and the T-5R and the R
twin DTM style as an option on the T-5R and the R
