Default Corrosion issues.

Well my newly acquired 360GLT went for its MOT this week - ouch!
Welding required around three out of four seat belt mountings, both inner sill rear and one outer sill at front, due to excessive corrosion. Plus an advisory on nearside rear (chassis) having slight corrosion, and corrosion to fuel tank strap. On looking back through past MOTs there has been welding needed on every other test.
Along with middle and rear exhaust sections, and a couple of other minor issues it came out at £400 to get her back on the road.

I have been running 240s for many years and never had this much rust on even the scruffiest examples. What I would like some advice on is whether this vehicle is worth spending any more money and effort to save. She still looks smart and drives well but I have visions of the whole car crumbling beneath me.
