Default Door Mirror Indicator

Need to change the door mirror indicator bulb for S40(57). Despite great instructions for all other bulbs, there's nothing in the manual for this one. Any instructions out there ? Or do I have to submit defeat and gop to the dealer ?

Think there was a post on here recently about it, something like having to point the mirror all the way downwards then undoing the clips holding the glass in which then allows access to the bulb.

prise off the top cover from the top near the glass with a plastic tool you will then be able to change the bulb after removing the indicator light unit , it is held by a tab you have to ease in to release the light unit ... you will need a 5 w orange capless bulb

Thanks, TB1. I saw the recent post and pics but they did not look like my car - there was no indicator housing.

Thanks, Clan. Got it changed. A bit wary of forcing the cover off, but it was OK in the end.
