Here for sale is a fabulous 2005 S60 D5 geartronic 185 BHP. The D5 is one of the greatest diesel engines ever built - sounds wonderful with it's 5 cylinder growl - these lumps are capable of huge mileages (a neighbour has a XC70 with over 300,000 on his!) We have owned this car for 3 yrs clocking up over 50,000 trouble free miles. We are only selling it as my wife no longer does a commute for work.

It comes with FULL Volvo (main agent and top independant history). 12 months MOT and just short of six months of tax - it is good to go - no money has been spared in running this much loved car!

The front wheels could do with being refurbed. All of this is me being picky - remember this car has done 79,000 miles and isn't brand new!

I know from personal experience how hard it is to sell these things for what seems to be a pair price to yourself. Nobody seems to want these things for some reason. If you want rid of it, you may have to drop the price down to nearer £4k for it to spark any interest.

Yes it does look nice but those wheels are 17" Thor i believe.

Hi Brooklands,

To put this into perspective, I've just picked up a well-worn but honest (I hope) 97k miles S80 D5 on a 54 plate for 3.5k from an independent dealer; it's SE spec with the winter pack so similar spec to yours but is not the same condition. Thought this might help with your pricing perspective.
