C70 S70 V70 Cars: - Clutch position sensor

How to test clutch position sensor.depress clutch pedal,start engine with cruise switched on,let clutch pedal out,engine service reqd comes on ,cruise goes out.remove the sensor put a multimeter on connections,my faulty one read 4.88 ohms the new one read 2.97ohms .hope this helps
