Kay, my comments were not aimed at you, it's the British people (not just on this forum) who seem to be changing the words they use.

Underdrive: not sure my thread is the best place to voice your language hang ups. Language evolves so embrace the changes.
Kay: I don’t have an issue with what you said. But I am not a fan of when opinion is stated as fact without evidence. Do you have evidence to change my mind? |

Hello Quarterless, if you would stay closer and have a look in my workshop on the wraped exhaust manifold made of mild steel, I'm shure I have the evidence to change your mind. I'm to stupid to post pics un this forum for bad luck. (And I don't have pics in digital form from them. You will see really bad corrosion)
The 4 in 1 you use I wouldn't use neither, no good results with them. I prefer the 4 in 2 in 1 with the right diameter. And I did read through your thread and found the "may-be-I-will-add-a-charger" ;-) Never tested a Jenvey Turbo inlet plenum on a NA, you will post the result hopefully. regards, Kay |

Quarterless, fair comment apologies for hijacking your thread I sometimes feel like commenting when it might not be appropriate but seems wrong to start a separate thread. Consider my wrist gently slapped ;-)

Thanks for the kind responses guys. I get that it could have been taken the wrong way.
Not sure whether to fit the plenum on just an NA engine. As you say no one has done it before. Which makes me think there is a reason why not. It would make fitting a filter much easier though. Down side is that either angled pipes will be needed or moving the clutch master cylinder. In regards to the exhaust manifold it’s a bit of a trial. If it doesn’t work it’s not a massive issue to swap out. Eventually when I’m happy with the choice I would probably go stainless. Last edited by Quarterless; Dec 9th, 2017 at 19:14. |

Lots of work going on with the amazon and hopefully it will be on the road in a few weeks. More pics to follow.
In regards to fitting early grills. Has anyone got any tips on how to stop the mesh grill bits flapping about? Or is there a thread with how to install them? |
