I bought an Exide EU80-6 for my PV444 18 months ago, with 3 year warranty.
The cheapest one-bay now is £74 delivered.

It's not difficult to convert to 12V.

expensive.The most difficult part is behind the dash, wiper motor, fuel gauge etc. The dash panel needs to be taken out and the windscreen. Starter, generator, regulator, heater motor, relays, coil.
