The top contact arm on my tps is no t making good contact with the circuit board. I want to bend it down and am wondering if there is a certain way to do it so I don't make the problem worse. Don't want to make the contact any looser than it is.

Thanks

Before you bend anything, clean the arc on the circuit board with the rubber eraser found on a pencil. Bad contact may just be down to dirty tracks. A new board and rivets can be bought from Eric Hamlet, but you already know that from the 1800 forum.

Thanks Derek. have already cleaned with eraser (worked great by the way) but noticed much less pressure under the upper contact arm that the others when I slid paper underneath them to polish them a bit. Do I have to disassemble to properly bend the contact arm?

having fun!

Can't comment on bending the arm as I've never had anything to do with them. If its working electrically I'd leave well alone.
