At £50 it’s basically pure profit as it’s software they already have £0 ongoing costs......it’s alreadt been developed.

Of course, if the Polestar upgrade changes the fuel curve of the engine to use less fuel (which means less power) for sedate driving, and then more fuel (meaning more power) for spirited driving, then you may see a MPG improvement when driving sedately.

But at the end of the day the power comes from the fuel: you cannot have more power with less fuel!

Ooo....Couldn't disagree more. I used to run two stroke MX bikes as lean as possible on the pilot jet and needle to get crisper throttle response and way more grunt.....yes 2 strokes can have grunt!. Surely Its efficiency that delivers power, not just dumping more fuel?
