Default P1800 Chrome Trim

Does anyone know if the small chrome trim that fits on the corner of the door at the very top of the open edge, where the door handle is, is the same on the straight chrome (1968) models and the early hockey-stick chrome models?

Mine are missing and I am starting a search, but it would be nice to be looking for the right thing!

I would suggest an earlier car perhaps on the frame round the vented window I have had a look at my 68 model car and can't see any bits like this on it . You could always ask the american seller who selling them on ebay what they are and where abouts they are placed on the car

Its a long time since I had one but I think these are for an early car as you say but not the vent wondow. I think - but don't quote me - that they hold the early door aperture rubber/fur trim in place half way down the B post where it kinks right in front of the small D shaped side window and directly below the seat belt clip. The shell on an early car is a different shape in this area
