Minormatt Member Last Online: Oct 22nd, 2022 13:41 Join Date: Feb 2017 Location: Hereford	Damaged D5 Head Before I chuck it in my scrap pile and damage it/melt it down... Is the head of my 2005 D5 any use to anyone? Water pump seized and threw the cambelt. Only looked very superficially but one cyl looks ok, the other 4 have damaged/snapped the casting around the solid lifters. Valves look ok. Half of the camshaft retaining caps have snapped. Cams, rockers, followers and cam cover/inlet manifold all on it. (Head is 2005, the rest is 2003 E3) Scrap value will be around £10 so if anyone wants it for that you are welcome too it. Collect from shrewsbury or can be posted at your expense. Will get chucked in a fortnight or so
