Default 2011 V60 Dual A/C controls

Hello

Is there anyway of synchronising the dual A/C controls so they're both controlled by driver and then when I have front seat passengers - we can operate them independently?

Thanks.

Maybe, link the two dials up with an elastic band?
I was never bothered by it on the V60 and although the V90 has a dual climate sync. I think I've only ever used it once. The 'better half' appears to like it +2degrees anyways.
