Hi Simon,
In the process of updating/cleaning my windows 10 PC I managed to damage both the installed VMware and the Vida2014D - neither of the Vida installs I have on an old Win XP Pro based Samsung netbook or the dedicated Acer Win7 Pro laptop I use for Vida in the garage are functioning either ('tis the date problem) - do you have a date patched 2018 DVD copy of Vida for sale please so that I can do fresh installs?

Hi Alan,
You won't need a fresh install, just an updated patch.
The one I've done expires in 2049 and I'll email it over today.

I've checked all the various inboxes/server spam filters etc. and it looks as though your email has disappeared in the ethers! Could you try sending it again please to ※alan>at<eurocbc.org※ cut between the※s and replace >at< with an @ - I usually get emails sent to that address as there is no attachment size limit.
ps when I've attempted to hand write the date patch and re-install in XP using VMware in Windows10(Pro 64bit) I repeatedly get a command message about "tskill.exe" being missing. I'm getting similar messages in the Win7 Pro & XP 64bit platform laptops, which is why I was considering a fresh install for all of them.

Apologies Alan, I had a premature senior moment with email addresses.
Check your regular email again.
When you install the patch, make sure the Destination Folder says c:\

If it doesn't exactly say c:\ amend it so it does.
