  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I watched the footage and didn’t see her until it was too late. Presumably the car had lights on, and as others have posted, she was already in middle of road, so clearly she didn’t look properly either.

This is an area where I think a Humab wouldn’t have stopped, but would have hoped LIDAR would have helped.

uber are using their own technology , it would be interesting to see how the standard Volvo city safety would have dealt with this situation ...cyclist detection is a relatively new addition to the 10 year old city safety system no doubt Volvo have already looked at their systems regarding this !
