Default Knocking sound when pulling away

Hi all,

My Volvo V60 has started to make a strange knocking noise.

When the car is cold and I pull off the driveway, I almost need to enable full right lock to get onto the road. At the point, as I nearly have the full steering to the right, I hear a "knock knock knock" I think coming from the right wheel area as I'm pulling away.

Soon as I've straightend up the noise goes away and I never hear it again until the car has been sat and I pull off the drive again.

Any ideas what it could be?

Whenever I get a knocking sound when pulling away it's normally because the passenger door was locked and my passenger still wants to get it....

Seriously, knocks on full lock are often worn CV joints

Sounds like a Driveshaft.

Thanks both.

I think a trip to the dealer is probably in order to have it checked out.
