  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Book time for service - Code 300

I'm getting the 'Book Time for service' message on my V50 2.0 petrol 2011 after it waa serviced a few months ago. when i go through the proces to reset, code 300 pops up. Any ideaa what this means?

From a quick google search, that code relates to misfires.

Did you have the spark plugs changed during the service?

Hi guys.....reading here you mention about resetting the service overdue message...how do you reset it?..please...Volvo v50 2.0d se estate 2008...thanks.

I cant remember exactly from the top of my head, but you tube has the answer.
IIRC it involves pressing the trip meter button, turning on the ignition and so on... Its very simple.

Service Indicator Reset (later dash type)
1. Press and hold trip odometer reset button
2. Turn ignition key to run position KPII
3. Wait 30 seconds or until service light begins blinking
4. Release Trip Odometer button
5. Turn ignition to off position
