They specialise in Land and Range Rovers mind although know gearboxes - they may shed some light on the XC90 problem of delay as it happens also in the LR TDV6 and some Jags

Have you tested with DTSC off?

Also Galoot I would suggest (if you have indeed not already done so) to speak to numerous auto gearbox specialists as Volvo dealers (and most other car manufacturer dealers for that matter) tend to be a "jack of all trades" with an average knowledge of most things as oppose to supreme knowledge in one particular area of engineering.

In this day and age, and with the money these cars cost, we shouldn't have to put up with such tardy engine/gearbox performance as this when pulling away from a standstill. As others have said, in rush hour traffic it is positively dangerous.
