Default Does your car have Air Con after blow/run function

Was told by the dealership yesterday that MY07 xc90 d5 SE's don't have this function to turn on with VIDA and that it is only available on older models prior to 07MY.
I have mentioned this on a different thread and some with MY09 and MY10 cars say that they have this function, so could someone in the know please confirm whether my car should have this function as standard fit? TIA

Can't give the definitive answer Bob,
but you can add my MY08 to the list that DOES have it :-)

What is this and how does it work please? When I turn off the ignition I don't notice any electronic climate control activity - it's all off on the dash...I have a MY07 2007 XC90 V8 Exec...can't even find anything about it in my owners' manual?

There is a sensor built into the air-con unit that detects humidity and if it is high enough, it turns on the fan to blow through the system and dry it out. It works automatically and usually switches on 10 - 15 minutes after the car has been parked up.
My 2010 car has it.

This is a very reputable dealership in S Wales and I'm surprised if they have deliberately misled me especially as it's there in black and white on the report form. Could someone with another MY07 please confirm that they have this function?

I'm not sure that the model year of your car is important.

On your A/C control panel do you have a Recirculation/Multi-Filter with sensor switch or just a Recirculation switch.

If you have the former you don't have a timer.

If you have the latter you do.

I have a 2011MY R-Design '90' with the former and hence do not have a timer. P84 of my manual explains this. Check yours.

Recirc/multifilter and sensor switch is present but you are talking about a different function to the one that I am referring to. The recirc timer is apparently different to the after blow function.
