Just to see if there's interest
Our 340 1.4 1987 has covered 82,000 miles. It was converted to gas a while ago and quite honestly has been brilliant on LPG. It starts on gas, runs further on a tankful for considerably less cost than on unleaded. In fact it's cheaper to run than my son's Micra.
It's not a the brightest pin in the packet, having a few scratches and the odd rust spot (treated but not at present painted over) BUT It has had years of careful service, all documented, passes MOT's without difficulty and has 10 months MOT at present. I am interested to know if anyone would buy this car from us for £750 with the LPG conversion? This would cover the cost of buying a system to go into a lower mileage 340 we have acquired. I have not put it on ebay yet, and still might go with plan A which is to strip out the LPG system and sell the car as a going concern on petrol only. Comments?
