Looking to rip out the original unit in favour of something better, cant decide if im going to stick a double din unit in there or not. Iv seen a single din storage tray/cup holder combo that looks fairly oe ish. Tempted by a double din satnav jobby but cant decide...

Are those cupholder/storage units any good? I'm curious as to whether they'd encroach on the gearstick.

somebody mentioned on the forum, that if you bought one with the sat nav,ie this 1205 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-CD-P...item487b69f464 you would be looking down at it.of course its best to use a sat nav in an ideal spot on the windscreen

Since swapped the extra cig socket for a surface mounted USB charger from a motorbike. That and volt meter powered off radio switched supply.

Wharfedale MP3/CD/FM headset.

Not a problem with the way i have them, but radio on top is a no-no!
If you have very fat hands you might catch them!
