Default Hello all from a newbie

Hi guys (and gals)

I'm a newbie on here but a seasoned poster on previous relevant forums (or is that fora?)

First really got into cars when I had a PT Cruiser - had it all modded and showed it regularly. Then I hit 50 and decided to go all sensible and bought a BMW 528iSE! To cut a long story short, the car has been written off (no injuries!) this week and I scoured round for a quick replacement. It was then I turned my attention to the S60. Shortlisted a few, then bought a 2002 Bifuel Auto. The car has 133k on but is mint - looks and drives like a one year old! I thought it was worth a go at £5.5k - one caring lady owner and full VSH. Filling the gas tank was an experience the first time but fuelling up for £20 I can live with!

The car is SE spec, silver with black leather interior, upgraded sound system and built in bluetooth. I must admit I love it (I am getting used to FWD again, slowly)

There's a guy local to work who, if you open an account, does LPG at 32p per litre so you can imagine the difference in the pocket to my 24mpg petrol beemer!

Anyway, that's me and my car - look forward to posting again soon.

Marty

Know what you mean, m8... 15 minutes before writing my beemer off I had put £70 worth of U/L in the tank... when I went to collect my personal belongings, I should have took a length of tubing....

Cheers m8 - it is stunning - just a few stone chips, that's all. The girl who I bought it off says that at least 120k is motorway mileage. Best colour to keep clean, too! Bonus!
