My left light wiper stopped the other day... I moved it and it was like it was not attached to anything, I wiggled it around again then it seemed to re-attach to the electric motor... but now it moves all wrong and does not reset to the finished position anymore.... ??????? any ideas

My guess is that the arm has come loose from the splined axle. If so, it's an easy fix. Flip the cover at the end of the arm, where it attaches to the axle. Use a 10 mm(?) wrench to loosen the nut a couple of turns, put the wiper arm in the correct position, and tighten the nut. Check the nut on the other arm too while you're at it.

Same procedue for the windscreen wipers BTW, only it's a 13 mm nut.

Try and avoid letting the spring push the boss sideways while you tighten the nut, or it can damage the splines or the thread. It is a very small shaft with quite a lot of force in the spring. Also it can slip by one spline's worth so that it still ends up misaligned.

Trying lifting blades up to see if they are jamming movement. Regards water check you have water and that pipes are not blocked or have come off (puddle underneath).
