  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default S60 outer cv

Seems the outer o/s cv joint needs replacing ! , 91,000 miles S60 2004, Indy garage quoting part at £420 plus vat plus fitting, sounds expensive !!! ,.... PFS have the outer CV assemblies for much much less, am I missing something . Anybody done one ? ... Any comments appreciated....Cheers.

Many thanks for that, it is much appreciated, as are your videos , re control arm and steering, been a big help. Am ok on 240's,...... S60 is a different animal but still nuts and bolts. Thanks again. 👍

I got a driveshaft from them last year. Very fast delivery and I've had no problems so far. I got mine on Ebay, here's a link to their page. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/jrcvjointsdriveshafts/

3 guys I work with have used them and all are going strong. One fitted his at least 3 years ago. .
When you think about what a driveshaft is actually made of, there's a strong case to say that genuine Volvo replacements are suspiciously expensive.
