Default honest answer

I have a 06 S40 awd 6 speed with the cluch pedal stuck to the floor, does the tranny have to come out just to change the slave cylinder? please help

Yeah, subframe off, angle gear off aswell to get tranny out,

Deffo not a 2 minute job

And while it's all out budget in for a new AWD coupling sleeve, only a hundred quid or so but the labour to do it separately is a killer....

I was told 7/9/2///11/17 hours to change the slave and didn't know if I was being taken for a ride !!

I take the I should order a clutch kit; fly wheel slave cylinder and a awd coupling sleeve,and rob a bank on my way by anything else

service, transmission fluids,timing belt,battery and tyres ok if not get some valium.

Alternatively, you could get the tech to take off and inspect the clutch if they cost an arm and leg.

TBH, with what it's gonna cost you I think maybe hanging around street corners at Kings Cross might be an idea as well....
In the end it's pretty much the same thing that's gonna happen to you at the repair shop
