Keyless entry remote

hey ! when i brought my S40 T4 the guy said the Keyless entry didnt work and wasnt connected so yesterday i tried to connect the keyless entry box and when i did the alarm went crazy and i couldnt turn it off with the remote ..

has anybody had this problem? its weird that my alarm goes on when i connect the Keyless entry box

It's a bit odd. Sounds like the guy knew the problem hence why he had it disconnected?

Checked the bonnet micro switch, It's a small metal lever on the bonnet, Give it a clean up and ensure it's in the right position as that could be setting the alarm off maybe?

yeah he knew the problem but atleast he told me about it

Will check the bonnet!
