Talking Will this fit?

Ok, I am thinking about buying a canoe/kayak (really just so I can justify owning the 240!). I was looking at roof bars on the Ebay and a few other places, but they seem to be a bit of a rip off, then I came across this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...80#description

What I would like to know is, will it fit onto my Torslanda '92 which is already set with factory fitted roof bars?
I have asked the seller, he replied that the bars give 11.5cm clearance, measuring the roof bars this seems to be enough. Am I correct?

Also, as I spotted it first I am claiming 'dibs' on it and would prefer if the rest of you would give me truthful advice and looked for your own cool roof rack! (lol) seriously though.
Cheers!

This will definatly fit your car but by you saying you have measured the roof bars are you wanting this roof rack to go over your original bars if so i would think clearence would be a problem.
I have one of these on my 240.

Ah, yeah sorry.

To clarify, I want to keep the roof bars as permanent, I would only use the 'full rack' for transporting larger things. So the 'full rack' from Ebay would have to go on the car with the factory fitted roof rails still in place.
The question should have been; Will I have enough clearance if I fit the advertised roof rack over my roof bars?

Thanks.
