Practical Classics Restoration Show - POSTPONED
Important information regarding the show
It is with great sadness that Clarion Events has decided to postpone the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery. The event team have been continually monitoring the latest public health and government guidelines regarding the evolving COVID-19 situation and acting in accordance with their advice. The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is the most important factor and therefore the only action for all involved is to postpone. We are working with the NEC to find suitable options to reschedule the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery, please bear with us as we work to secure a new date line. All sponsor, exhibitor and car club stand bookings will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. We will be in touch with everyone involved, as soon as we can, once we have confirmed arrangements with the venue. We are truly sorry that we have had to make this extremely difficult decision and thank you all for your patience, understanding and support in this unprecedented situation. Classic Car Auctions will be running their auction at the Warwickshire Event Centre. Please visit www.classiccarauctions.co.uk for further details, including how to view and bid. |

I've just read on the Saab Owners Club Forum that it has been repositioned to 7th-9th August. I haven't looked for an official announcement and I assume that these dates may depend on future developments.

Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show
That is correct - those are the new dates which have been released.
Fingers crossed as they say that this horrible virus has been dealt with by then not only so a normality can return, but far more importantly that there is no further impact on people's health. Kind regards Chris |

August Practical Classic Car and Resto Show - Cancelled
The re-arranged Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show scheduled for August has been cancelled.
Below is a statement issued by the organisers. Further details are available on their web site. __________________________________________________ ___________ Important update regarding the show As a consequence of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery, will now be postponed to 26-28 March 2021. Everyone involved in putting the show together is extremely disappointed that the ultimate restoration experience will not be brought to the community this year. However, the health and well-being of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is of the upmost importance. With the government’s roadmap suggesting that restrictions on movement will still be in place for some time, it is therefore the right decision for us to cease planning for an event of this size and importance in August. We will now be putting all our efforts into delivering an extra special restoration show in 2021 and a fantastic meeting of the community for our flagship event, the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, in November. Clarion Events is working with other event organisers, venues and government to develop guidelines on how to deliver the best versions of our events while ensuring the health and safety of all involved. We will update you further on the measures we are putting in place in due course. |
