960/v90 auto M reg, road speed of gearchanges ???

Wonder if anyone can advise me of road speed and gearchanges on above car ,mine will not go into top gear under 40+ mph, even driving like there is an egg under throttle pedal,is this normal, and if not,is there any adjustment ???? might do s little to help my mpg, now running at about 20mpg, new plugs and air filter fitted, also stuff dumped in tank to clean injectors,

Are you running your auto box in 'Economy' or 'Sport' mode?

In the 'Sport' mode you will get higher revs (and speeds) before any up-shift operation.

Check in your owners handbook. Your car is a 960 not a V90. V90s were only in production 1997 and 1998. If you have no handbook and are a VOC member you can download a copy from the website.
