Buying a 2.0 T2 soon.

Can I expect the clutch to work or are those issues exclusive to old ecoboost 1.6?

I dont think the expectation that the clutch should work as intended is a unreasonable one TBH , if it doesn’t i would be rather put off the car and maybe look elsewhere

Driving a car with a inop clutch is a royal PIA ...

The clutch seems to be a bit problematic on all manual V40s, including the 2.0 engines.
