Default ABS module identification for 850

I need to get another ABS module from a breakers yard for a 1996 850 estate 2.0L 20 valve. Can anyone tell me what numbers should be on the top?

The reason I am asking is because on removing mine I notice it has '4WD' on the label (not 2WD) after 'CONTROL-UNIT+TRACS'.

Is the unit for my car the same as all 850's and early V70's 2 and 4 wheel drive?

itll say 2wd/4wd

theres a part number on the module

for example: 9162675

just find a replacement that bears the same numbers. there arent many variants around that era

That of course would be the logical thing to do but if you notice in my post I said that I have a 2WD car yet the module I have removed from it says 4WD on it.
The ABS and TRACS dash lights came on recently but for the 5 years prior to that the lights have not been on (normal), the ABS has worked but the traction control has not worked. I never really bothered about the traction control not working so long as the light stayed out.

Hence the reason for asking the question if anyone knows the correct part number I should be looking for!

AFAIK they all say 2WD/4WD, at least the ones I've seen on various 850&C70, the important bit is the combination ABS/TRACS/STC. You have three different systems, ABS only, ABS + TRACS and ABS + STC.
I successfully ran a TRACS system with a ABS only box, but a TRACS box on a STC system lit up the lights on the dash.

So do you know if a unit with 4WD is OK on a 2WD car like mine?

Is the part number irrelevant so long as it comes off an 850 or V70?

On the4 OBD readout it shows a value of 0.6 with all wheels at rest. On the road the front off side lags very slightly behind all the others when accelerating, would this cause the lights to come on?

Stability Traction Control.

It was an optional extra and if your car has it fitted there will be a switch on the dash to switch it on and off.

What is the difference between TRACS (which I believe is traction control) and STC?

My car has ABS + TRACS with a TRACS OFF switch on the dash which does as it says. So far as I know TRACS applies brake to a spinning/faster wheel, I assume STC is slightly more advanced?
