Exclamation Completely dead V50 T5

At first the Anti skid service required warning
then low power
then imboliliser came on and shut the car down "on the road/in transit"

left the key at position 2 for 5 minutes

car restarted and I drove it direct to Truro motors to see what the problem was

I got somebodies played about with the wiring (not true) and we cannot look at it now.

so I drove it home (17 miles away) because it started

next day tried to start it .. complete fail again.

anti skid service then major engine service required light came on, imobilizer came on..
waited 5 minutes in position 2 and drove it to my normal local garage.

car now dead in their park.

Ecu? anyone got any ideas.... its always been serviced and when going runs well, but when it doesn't it is the worst car I've ever owned..

Engine is brilliant its just the electronic are too complicated year 2005

I think i would try pulling down the CEM below the glove box then remove and clean all connectors with contact cleaner and a toothbrush. (unplug battery beforehand )
My problems started with the mil not coming on at start up so failed mot, then got various faults like anti skid message, immobiliser cut in and windscreen wipers running on their own.
Following the CEM clean up all has been ok, that was back in March.
I have a hunch that the wiring gets dislodged when changing the cabin filter.

Would still get you alternator checked. I am on my 3rd!

The alternator can get an internal short which will give you loads of warnings and take out your battery.
