Very happy!
The problem has been solved.
The adjusting bolts on the pitman and idle arm where completely out of adjustment.
Now everything is back to normal.
Now I can continue to sleep well and worry about something else.
Have a great weekend and again, many thanks for your interest and help

CLARIFICATION my previous post should have said “the adjustment BARS” (tie rods) not bolts, sorry for the confusion. Intelligent phone, dumb operator

So your problem was solved by adjusting toe in / toe out on the tie rods?

Well done. Everything is looking better than new under there. Very nice work. Your problem would be very apparent the first time you drove it. If this was found after a proper alignment great. If not, get that done before driving or you will wreck you very expensive tyres!

Adarvasi;

...yes, I was wondering about that myself...I was going to ask if that car had ever been (or could ever be) driven with a front suspension in such a state of (Feldman, RIP)-alignment.

...and I must agree...it looks very good indeed under there...

Cheers
