Hi david,

Round town not great but pretty constant at about 25mpg.

On a run is far better and can be upto about 40mpg - LINKY! to my eco run.

On average though I'm doing low to mid 30's on a combined usage basis. You can't expect wonders from a T5.

yep, mine is around 50 mpg on the 2.0D. I think i might switch next time the car is due a service to castrol edge though...although it is 0w-30 not 5w should be fine in the 2.0D i would be interested to see if i can get a wee bit more mpg out of it.

I always would (so far as the general filters and stuff should i be inclined to do more self servicing) usually you get what you pay for and from it i do not see why you should not go with original at least you can have some comeback and there usually is consistency in the product at least,

interesting on the oil front you get much more MPG though? i know V power has improved it in gear definitely as well as my MPG.

in relation to MPG i wouldn't say that it is a huge amount but for sure it run a lot smoother .
