'Low Battery' warning
I got the message 'Low Battery' displayed on my dash this morning when I sat with the ignition lights on but no engine running - this was after the car had been for it's usual 10 mile commute to work.
Sorry of this is a really dumb question but I assume that means a problem with the car's main battery? I have had no alternator or warning light on so any ideas what the fault may be? Thanks and again, sorry if it's an obvious question - I am hoping it's really not the car's main battery. |

Not sure on just 'battery low' but I'd imagine so....?

Hi, yes 'Low Battery' means the main car battery. I had this come on more and more frequently when using radio with out engine running etc. A few months later the battery died completely.
You will find when it displays the warning it will limit the stereo volume and also turn down the fan speed if its running in a bid to save power. Manual says to start the car to charge the battery. |
