  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Why do you want to do this anyway?.

Daim's answer is absolutely right. You never get something for nothing, and more power is only at the expense of more fuel.

Also if you have any problems with your car, then Volvo probably will wash their hands of it. The DPF a source of great discussion many times on the forum, will be regenerating more frequently, which in itself means more fuel being burnt. Immediately negates the economy aspect.


If you are trying for economy then change your driving style or get a more econimical car, the 1.6D for example.

If you want to go faster then get the D5,4 or 3.

And don't forget that if you modify your car for performance then insurance will be affected.


In my opinion, it's alot of expense for a lot of potential problems.
