2007 C70 - Headlamp - Compatible S40/V50 Replacement
I need to replace a left hand side headlamp on a 2007 C70 and was wondering if an equivalent year S40 headlamp or similar would be a compatible replacement.
Does anyone have any experience of this? The part code on my original LH headlamp is 9466361. There is one listed online with the same part code for a S40/V50. The right hand side was replaced last year and the code on that is 31335186. So i am assuming that part code 31335185 (LH) will also work for the left. I have also found part code 31283041 which may also be compatible. If you have a S40 or V50 would you kindly check the part code on your LH headlamp for me please and post along with the model year. I just need to be sure that what i am buying would be compatible. And perhaps this will help other C70 owners in future. Many thanks in advance. Last edited by wandererz; Sep 2nd, 2012 at 15:41. |

None will fit, as the C70 has different "cut outs" in the wings. The C30 ones MIGHT just fit, but S40/V50 will NOT fit.

This is what caused my confusion (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-S40-...091939#vi-desc).
The part code is the same as on my C70 but it is listed for an S40/V50 2004-2007. At that price it's a third of the cost of a new part. But i just need to be certain rather than end up with a part i need to sell on. |

According to Skandix (a German Volvo specialist) the headlights aren't identical. No matter if xenon or non xenon.
