Hi,

Quote:
Automotive Lighting was formed in 1999 as a joint venture between Magneti Marelli and Robert Bosch. It is now a full subsidiary of Magneti Marelli.
You'd trust these guys to make something for your car???

Hi, Don't have to look far...
Do a search of these very forums for Marelli.
Loads of results in the ETM forum!!!!
They were responsible for the faulty ETM module...

You've got to worry you'll end up with Italian engineering with German design flair rather than the other way round.

Reminds me of the disasterous mid-80's tie-up between Alfa Romeo and Datsun.
What we got was a Datsun Cherry (see pic...Mmmmm nice!) with Italian electrics in the Alfa Arna (Alfa Romeo Nissan Autoveicoli).
Datsun never had the danglies to release one with the Datsun badge.
