Changing the alternator and aircon belts
I want to change a squeaky alternator belt on a 59plate 2l c30 (Rdesign). I have tried WD40 on it to stop it squeaking, but that only makes it worse. There is no spring loaded idler pulley to allow me to get the AC belt off. so I'm wondering if I have to get the bottom pulley off.

It's a stretch belt you cut the old one off and use your hands or the correct tool to fit the new one which stretches over the pulleys.
