Default D5 tensioner torque?

Evening, I wonder if anyone could help please? I've just changed both of my Aux/ Air con belt's and tensioners, I torqued the 13mm bolt that holds them in place to 24nm as that is what haynes says or rather all other engines other than 2.0! I've checked/searched online for the torque setting but can't find any info regarding this! it's just 24nm seems a little low. Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have a 2.4 d5 so not sure I can help however the water pump 10mm bolts were 10Nm and the idler and tensioner were both 25Nm on their 13mm bolts.

It would sound sensible to me...

VIDA says 24nm and that's what I set mine to (with threadlock).

Why would you thread lock it?

Because I believe that is what was specified by Volvo, the bolts when removed had evidence on the threads of it being used, also they aren't a stretch bolt so it won't do any harm, but one of the bolts coming loose and running out the aux belts could be catastrophic so why risk it?
