The stickers (just for the sake of it):

I can't really say I've noticed any performance or noise difference, but I've only driven on my 2 mile each way commute so far!

I got an after market one off eBay designed to fit a Ford Focus, fits pretty much perfectly Cost about £20 delivered. Think it proved its worth when I was driving in Fife at night and hit a rock in the middle of the road earlier in the year that cracked a bit of the driver's side wheel arch liner and put a chip in the bottom of the front bumper. Was a very horrible plasticy flexing / scrapping sound inside the car, so must have scrapped along the bottom of the undertray, saved the aux belt or sump being hit.

Hi, I have just changed my air filter and did not know about this sponge filter. It is there but is torn, dirty and out of shape. This might be a daft question but when I get a new one which way does it go in with regards to it looking stepped in shape.

Regards

Steven

The top is flat so i believe the stepped bit goes downwards to match the step in the housing ..
