  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

According to the 2005 owners manual on the Volvo Cars UK website you should have 35W D2R lamps.

No wonder you are having issues.... :-)

Soo, I need an ignition unit now too! To replace the D1S with a D2R.

D1S is for projector headlights isn’t it?
No wonder I can’t see bugger all!!

If you have the reflector ones as linked to them you need the D2R ones the other one you have will be part of the reason why you have rubbish lights.

Yep I have 2x D2R bulbs-

But the one on the left won’t have an igniter as it’s built in on the D1s bulb, so I need to find a valeo igniter (on a budget hence the eBay link!)

That's correct - S means for Projector headlight, R means for reflector - you need R.
