Default Rear fog light not working

Hi Guys. I have an 2007 C70 Volvo and the o/s rear fog light is not working. When I try to turn them on at the switch on the dash the warning light will flicker for a fraction of a second as will the rear bulb, after a couple of times there is no flicker at all, switch off/on lights and it will flicker 1 or twice again. I have tried all combination of light switches and no difference. I can't identify the fuse either. I'm thinking relay??. If so where is it? Cheers folks

have you got a towbar some towbar sockets have a bulit in switch to turn the fog light off when a trailer is connected, the Volvo system uses software and a relay to do the same, this might be causing the problem. if no towbar is fitted it may be a faulty bulb or a short circuit,

No tow bar fitted and the bulb is ok. It flashes on for a fraction of a second when turned on. Also a short would surely blow the fuse??

just noticed you have posted that you have a C70 have you posted in the wrong section? The relay for the foglamp in the V70 is in the control unit on the NSR.
