Broken mirror casing

Hi all my driver's side mirror has a broken casing, mine is power fold but have managed to source a non power fold cheap, my plan is to dismantle the non power fold and rebuild mine so was wondering if this is possible or is there any difference between the 2

Hi, a m/y, (model year) would be helpful.

For example, many have indicators and puddle lights or colour coded.

Lots of different types.

If you could elaborate it would be helpful to readers.

Apologies, it's a 2004 executive, no idea what the donor car is (eBay)

Just checked mine, I have puddle lights and the donor mirror doesn't so I'll be sacrificing that by the looks of it, didn't know I had it so not going to be missed
