Default Advice please?

I'm selling my V8 XC90.
I thought I would ask you knowledgeable people about the value of it.
It's 2007, 94400 miles, full service history 75% main dealer, no scratches or dents, excellent interior again no marks or scratches.
It has recently had new 18" alloys with Uniroyal Rainsport 3, new battery still has 3.5 years warranty, new front discs and pads, LPG conversion.
Everything works as it should, apart from CD player, which shows an eject error, was like that when I bought it, I stream music so was never an issue, was serviced 2 months ago, MOT until mid November. DVD entertainment system works great with Volvo IR headphones, it has the remotes for DVD and Sat Nav with latest update maps.
So what's it worth honestly,

Thanks Steven

That has to be one of the hardest cars out there to value I should imagine.

Large, 4x4 and a v8 up against an excellent Diesel engine. So on the one side facts are against you.

However..... the car is super rare, has an lpg conversion. I would have thought really well presented it would make good money but I would be prepared to wait around for the correct person to come along.

I think the V8’s are worth substantially more than the D5 due to the rarity. I think also they will appeal to a different buyer - generally one who does a low mileage. The LPG conversion - if done well and properly certified - is bonus.

However it’s 12 years old, and only 4 months MOT. I would put a full ticket on it and expect 7-ish for it.

But low mileage, good condition ones simply are not available most of the time so you might get a bit more. As said above have patience and a buyer will show....

The V8 is such a different beast to the diesel, it cannot be appreciated unless you have driven one.

Many thanks for your help.
Yes, it is extremely well presented, and serviced LPG.
I will put a full MOT for the person who buys it.
They are that rare that they aren't even listed in the Class guide, and it's deffo worth more than £3100 as valued by Evans Halshaw😂
Have advertised it at £7495 but had only two enquiries with no follow up.
As quoted, it's deffo a different beast to drive.

A main dealer would never sell a vehicle of that age, and probably not one with an aftermarket LPG system, so I would expect them to value it at around one half of its market value. This will dispose of it at auction and expect to recover their costs to transport it there etc. and sales commission. A few years ago my dad upgraded his 2005 XC70 to a 2013, the dealer offered £3,500 in p/x for the '05 car, it did exactly £7k on an ebay auction...

You just need to have patience, when it sells it will all happen in a few hours, phone call, viewing, done deal etc. Don't take a daft price for it either, stick to your guns.

There are very few original UK V8's around and for some reason a few of them are in Norfolk/Suffolk... there's 2 other members on here that I know of with V8's in that area.
