Infotainment unresponsive
I have a 2014 V60 Plug-in hybrid.
I don't tend to make use of many capabilities of the sensus system save the radio. The car hasn't had much use over the past 12 months for obvious reasons, but when I did need it, it functioned fine and the radio kept me entertained. However, getting in it one day, there was a message on the screen "DAB unavailable" and no sound. I tried to navigate to other settings but none of the buttons worked, My Car included. I could use the steering wheel functionality to change to FM radio, but that still resulted in no sound. The power button signals it is turning off the media volume and turning back on again, but it has made no difference, and a long push to turn off the system hasn't reaped and rewards either. Has anybody got a solution to this? Not overly keen to get to a service centre in the current climate, especially as none that close, and it's not exactly essential work either! Luckily the heating controls all work, so I'm not sat in an ice box too! |

Did you figure out what was wrong? I seem to have the exact same issue!

PhilAngel was last online March 2021 so doubtful you'll get a response
I would suggest perhaps disconnecting the main battery negative terminal for 30 minutes or so to see if that helps Other than that, hopefully someone with experience of this will reply

Turned out that the battery terminal connection was slipping ever so slightly, causing power to be lost. My mechanic also replaced the stop/start battery as it wasn't an original Volvo one just to be safe (I know it would probably have been fine, but I was happy to replace) |
