I had the curve speed control function on my two recent cars, however there is a motorway exit from the A27 to the A3(M) when travelling from Portsmouth to the north. The left turn into the A3M is on to an up slope and to be honest one does not want to be forced to slow down when in the overtaking lane when going north so I have disabled the function so that I have more control of the car.

No. I decided not to bother as the lease has less than a year to go and I see no point paying for it when I'm likely to change the car where it's enabled from the factory.

When my car was in for service in July, I was told that the CSA was not available for my car. I mentioned a Total Software Update, but was still told no. I have no way of knowing if I was being told this out of sure knowledge that it can’t be done, or simply a reluctance to find out (bear in mind, these are the guys that took 18 months to finally replace a duff battery).

The V60 came with Pilot Assist "2.5", where it has the link to the navigation system for upcoming bends but didn't have the software installed to allow the car to slow down for them. If you ordered six months later you had that feature turned on.

I'd probably get it enabled (there's a software package to take it to PA3) if I kept the car.
