whats the max safe boost you guys are running on the LPT
As title says,
with covid and the recent c70, been bringing the car up to stage 0 really not to much as full service history, just a set of lower arms and wheel bearing, so its got a cold air box and cone, boost gauge and just fitted a mbc, left at stock pressure atm, 7-8 psi, whats the max safe boost levels without a map? 10-12? whats everybody else running at? thanks guys, |

Not an expert on this, but wouldn’t think the boost increase from 7-8 to 10-12 wouldn’t be to bad. My C70 2.5T LPT had a BSR tune that raised it from 193 to 230+ ish. With a boost gauge on it and floored, it would get up to 12-13 psi.
With a few mods, 19T turbo, bigger injectors etc, it’s close to 300 now. This was with a custom tune and dyno. Just make sure if your going to increase the pressure, do it in baby steps. Last edited by Spawned66; May 13th, 2020 at 20:02. |
