Geartronic issues
I have a 2004 D5 and the geartronic box has just started do some thing odd. This only happens when the box is cold, i.e. when its been left over night.
The gearbox seem to go into neutral between gears, as the revs rise when it goes to change gear, Its most noticable from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. This has only happened in the last couple of days and like i said it stops and the box behaves like normal as soon as its up to temp. The oil level is on the max mark when measured hot and engine running. Has anyone else had this? any pointers on what to look for? Ta |

Did you check the colour of the gearbox oil? Should be clear red, not dirty brown... Could be as little as an oil change...
